SCRIBANNE CHEST OF DRAWERS, BY LAMOTTE, CIRCA 1840
in molded and carved walnut, walnut and mahogany veneer, decorated with friezes of gadrooned, twisted, guilloche, pearled and foliate scrolls. It opens with four drawers, the top one with flap revealing pigeonholes and desk drawers. Straight uprights, plinth base, rectangular legs with rounded corners.
