Oval brooch in 800 thousandths silver and 750 thousandths pink gold with floral and foliage motifs enhanced with button pearls and rose-cut diamonds. 750 thousandths pink gold pin.
Diamond hallmark of the Théodule BOURDIER workshop.
Diameters of pearls: from 3.3 to 4.5mm.

Théodule BOURDIER (1837-1898) received his inscription in 1863. Through his marriage to Marie Françoise Griffeuille in 1872, he became Alfred Cartier's brother-in-law.
Specializing in wedding baskets, Bourdier was a supplier to the Imperial Court of Russia. He was awarded a Gold Medal at the Paris World's Fairs of 1878 and 1889, and took part in the Chicago International Exhibition in 1893.
