Chinese "opium pillow", neck support made of porcelain. The figurine has an opening at the bottom into which the opium incense could be inserted. The smoke escaped upwards through two small holes in the earlobes of the figurine, allowing the person lying down to inhale a continuous stream of vapours. Encore wooden base.
