Petit masque portrait probably a heel model by a Baule sculptor. It features the face of a notable with a beautiful, interiorized and concentrated expression, the forehead, temples, cheeks, chin and corners of the mouth adorned with traditional incised scarification marks in relief. The arched headdress is defined by two stepped protrusions. Hardwood, old red, honey and shiny brown patina in places Baule, Republic of Côte d'Ivoire 18 x 10.2 cm
