Silver pocket watch (800 thousandths), double case, finely chased champlevé silver dial with Roman numerals, date window opening at 6 o'clock.
Outer case in repoussé, centered on a city trade scene featuring several figures including a large seated man, a woman, a child and a dog..., set in a floral, foliage and animal motif. Rooster movement, verge escapement and meeting wheel, chain and fusee.
Signed gilt brass dial and plate.
Dutch work, mid-18th century (as is).
