Unpublished preface by Francis Carco. Original wash lithographs by Georges Gobô. 1 vol. XII, 205p. in4 in sheets, in a publisher's folder and slipcase. Illustrated with 43 original colour lithographs by Georges Gobô in and out of the text, including a frontispiece. Begun in August 1929, published under the direction of Maurice Lange, the edition was completed on 23 April 1933. Edition of 130 copies, all numbered on Arches vellum, watermarked with the company's monogram. First bibliophile work in which all the colour illustrations were executed in original washes on lithographic stones in register plates.
