Anonymous portrait painter (19th century) Magdalena Mock, née Romer (1841-1913), portrait of a woman in traditional costume, pastel with chalk on paper. Warthausen Castle. Lady dressed in Upper Swabian costume, matching the traditional costume around 1850 in the Ravensburg area, richly decorated bonnet in yellow tones, blue velvet dress. Three-quarter portrait, looking at the viewer, very finely worked, virtuoso shading. Counterpart to the offered portrait of a gentleman. Painting 60 x 43 cm. In a very fine gold frame decorated with rocailles 75 x 57 cm.
