Lady in a robe, around 1910/20, oil on card.
Painting, characterised by emerald colours, the colours of Art Nouveau. Exhibition sticker and auction sticker on the reverse. One of the stickers dates from 1924, signed "C. Probst" lower left. The signature was removed during a historical cleaning to avoid damage. The colour with which the signature was drawn matches the brown tone of the coat, even when viewed under UV light. There is a water stain above the hand on the right edge of the image.
This work comes from a regional estate.
