Signed "Richter" lower right. Canvas 88 x 61 cm.
A painting with the same motif was attributed to the Italian artist Michele Marieschi (1694-1743) by Heritage Auctions in Dallas, Texas in 2006 and sold at auction. Michele Marieschi was an Italian painter of landscapes who was mainly active in Venice.
