[Paris]. BRION DE LA TOUR (Louis). Nouveau pan de Paris avec ses augmentations, tant finies que projettées. A Paris, chez Desnos, [1793-1794]. Copper-engraved plan, approx. 56 x 79 cm, folded approx. 20 x 14 cm, remainder of period marbled cover on one side (fold marks with cracks and holes).
Boundaries, course of the Seine and cartouche colored. Place Louis XV has not changed its name on this plan, but the Bastille is no longer shown. This is an updated edition of the plan published by Brion de La Tour in 1785-88; in the upper right-hand box, a plan of the Paris suburbs has replaced that of Versailles. Published during the Terror, the publisher's address has been secularized: "rue Jacques" instead of "St Jacques".
