In-folio, 20th c. pastiche binding, 5-rib guilloche spine, brown and green author's and title-pieces, small-ink ornamented caissons, date stamped on tail, triple gilt fillet on boards, gilt roulette on edges and chases, red head, mounted on mitre (slight rubbing to headpieces, case split). to headpieces, case split; 1st title faded with old stamp, lined and restored, same for Bertius folding map; small hole filled and arms rubbed on map of Anjou, one corner mq. in margin of text Normandie; sporadic spotting generally marginal; qq. restorations in margin; 2 f. of text lacking).
Second volume of this atlas, comprising two sub-sections, the first devoted to France and its provinces, the second to Spain, Asia, Africa and America.

Collation conforms to that given by Van der Krogt, except for 2 absent leaves: O(M) on Palestine and Asia, and the table leaf signed X (the latter replaced by a modern handwritten table); some plates placed in a different order.
