First edition of this volume produced to mark the King's return to Paris after the surrender of La Rochelle. Illustrated with a frontispiece (on page 4, faded) and 14 (of 15) copper-engraved plates by Melchior Tavernier (1594-1665) and P. Firens after Abraham Bosse (Brunet II, 965).
