Desbordes, 1773. 3 volumes in 2 vols. in-12, [4] f., 324 p. + 4] f., 263 p. ; [4] f., 148 p., long-grained red morocco, smooth spine, gilt title and tomaison, decoration composed of a set of gilt irons with a comic mask as a fleuron, boards framed with two double fillets and a grecque, all gilt, gilt fillet on the edges, guilloché corners and headpieces, interior roulette, gilt edges [rel. P. Bozérian] (light stains on boards, corners slightly rubbed and one a little crushed, 2 inner hinges cracked but solid, sporadic russeting and browning). A fine copy in an elegant binding by Jean-Claude Bozérian (1763-1840). Provenance: Adrien Lachenal (1849-1918), Swiss politician (engraved bookplate). (Gay, III, 372-373, ignores this edition).
