Richenthal, Ulrich von, "Concilium zu Costentz" (Chronicle of the Council of Constance), rare edition from 1536, dated at the end (fol. 215) "Gedruckt und vollendet inn ... Augspurg / durch Heinrich Steyner / im Monat Decembris / Anno / M.D.XXXVI", with 35 full-page figural woodcuts and well over 1000 (mostly) woodcuts of coats of arms, copy not quite complete, missing fols. 1-6 (incl. title), 15, 16, 36, 55, 88, 100 and 160, paper browned and stained, several pages with missing parts (partly old restorations), tears or handwritten entries, numerous woodcuts clumsily partially re-colored, rebound in firm cardboard binding around 1800 (stronger signs of wear), 29 x 20.5 x 4 cm, provenance: from the old collection of a North German count's family. 4455-122
