Sura (al-A'râf - 83), vv. 86-88. Ink and gold on paper, 5 lines of Qur'anic text written in brown ink, in medium thuluth, verses separated by gold, red and blue medallions, centered on a beautiful gilded palmette. Marginal medallion inscribed in gold kufic script and surrounded by blue, indicating the 'Achr (ten verses). Wear, stains, margins cut, edges restored. ADDED a 19th-century maghribi leaf.
