IRAN AND INDIA, 1275 H./1858 AND 19th CENTURY
Composed of two maktas and two pairs of scissors in steel, brass and gold damascened decoration. The knives feature lined plant motifs and Persian poetry inscriptions, in nast'aliq and in reserve. A pair of scissors signed on one side in a gold damascened medallion, one dated on the shoulder in a small cartouche.
Lengths: from 20.5 cm. to 24 cm.
