Arabic manuscript on cream paper. Text copied in Maghribi style at a rate of 15 ll. per page, ruled in mistara, within a frame of three red and blue fillets. Sepia ink, red and blue. Titles, body text and marginal notes adopt different varieties of script (thuluth maghribi, maghribi). Annotations in the margins. On the first page: the title is inscribed within an ornamental polychrome band, enhanced with gold, which extends into the margin with a vignette of foliage scrolls. The texts are as follows:
