Arabic manuscript on paper. 270 leaves. Text copied in fine Maghribi script, with 19 lines per page within a frame of three red and blue fillets. Polychrome ink, gouache and gold. Verso of first leaf: the title is inscribed within an ornamental polychrome band, enhanced with gold, which is extended in the margin by a vignette composed of vegetal scrolls. Several marginal comments. Original binding with missing flap, in reddish-brown morocco with cold-stamped and gold-embossed decoration.
Text: 13 x 9.5 cm. Page: 22 x 18 cm.
Bound in leather from the same period, damaged at the edges and on the spine, with missing flap. Margins have been trimmed. One leaf has retained part of its original margins, containing text. Otherwise good condition.
