Polychrome pigments and gold on paper, 9 lines of text written in nasta'liq in brown ink, the titles in red in cartouches, interrupted by the miniature, spilling over the margin, depicting Alexander, in his palace, being served a drink by a young woman. The margin is enlivened by several dancers with bare busts, and female musicians playing the harp.
