Luzzatti, Luigi - Correspondence and documents
Vast collection of correspondences addressed to Luigi Luzzatti (Venice, 1841-Rome, 1927), jurist and university professor, at the same time economist, banker and promoter of the first credit network in united Italy, he was for a long time a member of parliament, among the most lucid exponents of the historical Right, several times Minister of Finance and the Treasury under various Governments as well as Prime Minister in 1910-'11. Here is collected a dense correspondence, more than 60 letters from important figures of the Italian political scene of the early 20th century. It is a corpus all to be studied, to delve further into aspects of a personality already known but so distinct that it can never be said to be fully circumscribed.
