The work consists of two suites: the first includes an engraved frontispiece and 61 plates showing 398 civilian costumes of European nations and the Ottoman Empire, the second includes an engraved frontispiece and 19 plates showing 108 religious vestments, followed by 8 plates depicting Equestrian Knights from other work by Bruyn, coeval bindings in bazzana with gold decorations to plates and spine, defects and missing on spine and plates.
