Title page in black red, with wood-engraved border, vignette, and typographical mark, 2 full-page plates, several woodcut illustrations in the text, restoration to upper margin of title page, pagination errors (the 4 cc. following the title page are usually after 3✝¹⁰; the next cc 1-7⁸ usually go at the end of the volume), missing cc 57 and 64, coeval stiff vellum binding, gussets with titles to spine, slight defects. Paper ex libris to the counterplate.
