Siliceous ceramic, with blue and black painted decoration on a white slip base, under a colorless transparent glaze, mounted in engraved brass, imitation Chinese mark on the base and decoration of birds in a sinister landscape. Chips, scratches, small missing parts.

Craquelure throughout the surface of the glaze, one chip to enamel and small areas of glaze misfiring in the lower part, abrasion with small chips to the mouth, the neck with a copper Qajar mount, the foot with several small chips, as viewed.
