Bench. ca. 1960. Beech wood. Iron base. Measurements: 39 x 250 x 34 cm. Large bench. Designed and manufactured around 1960. It consists of thick varnished solid wood slats, forming the seat. On a black lacquered iron structure. Attached are two thin wooden trays that fit into the sliding surface. This type of bench was very popular during the fifties, sixties and seventies and designs were projected with all kinds of materials by great designers such as Charlotte Perriand, Alain Richard or Georges Nelson.
