PIERRE FORSELL (Stockholm, 1925-2004) for Skultuna.
Pair of "Rossett" candleholders, 1960s.
Unpolished brass.
Very good condition. Retains patina.
Measurements: 13,5 x 6 x 6 cm.
Rare pair of "Rossett" solid brass candlesticks from the 1960s by Swedish designer Pierre Forsell for Skultuna. Its geometric shapes and sharp edges bring sophistication to the ensemble.
A Swedish designer, craftsman and goldsmith, Forssell worked for Gense between 1952 and 1964, where he designed the Piruett folding fork (introduced in 1955 on the H55, launched in 1959) and the Spectra cutlery range (1961). He also did work for Skultuna Messingsbruk between 1955 and 1986, for example the Rosett candle holder.
