In 1986 the mangaka (Japanese word designated to refer to the creator of a comic book) Masaki Kuramada began his definitive and most successful work: Saint Seiya, which consisted of 28 volumes of manga, 114 chapters of anime, 5 movies and the subsequent animation of the last saga of the manga (Hades), with 31 OVAs. Today, the success of the series continues.
