Agate carved in the shape of a sheath, slightly curved on one side, elongated with rounded edges, narrower at the ends, and having a central hole through it for the placement of a cord. It has a reddish color adorned by the natural light veining of the stone itself. This type of object was used as part of the traditional elements and ornaments of Buddhism. It shows a generalized patina produced by the passage of time. Tang Dynasty (618 - 906) or later. Measures: 1,6 x 1,1 x 6,7 cm. Weight: 13 g
