Carved jade figure of clear and whitish tonality. It shows an erect Luohan, holding in his hands ritual elements such as a long ruyi scepter and a pearl. He is accompanied by a foo dog, who is seated next to him, with a protective air, straight head and intense look ahead. The old man, with a friendly expression and a slight smile, has his arms and legs covered by a long robe knotted at the hips, but leaving his torso uncovered.
