Bronze vase with traditional "Gū" shape. It has a globular body rising on an elongated flared foot and extending into the wide trumpet-shaped mouth.
The decoration shows, on the body and inside, colorful lotuses in bloom arranged between long intertwined branches and framed by two strips of "ruyis". Both the foot and the neck have mirror decorations starting from a border of "ruyis", followed by lotuses in bloom adorned with thin branches, between which are interspersed lobed cartouches inscribed with large red bats with outstretched wings accompanied by a Chinese symbol and lotus petals. Each segment of the vase is divided by smooth strips of gold-toned bronze, while the edges of the foot and the mouth, also made of gold-toned bronze, have a decorative border of embossed geometric motifs.
