Drawing in brown ink, graphite and white gouache highlights, on paper pasted to sheet, from a sketchbook signed lower left by the artist "Clémentine" and dated "1835", with the artist's autograph text in French illustrating a passage from the book Ahasvérus la légende du juif errant: "Le cheval d'Ahasvérus: maître venez voici mon dernier souffle (il meurt). Ahasvérus: Et moi voici mon agonie...". Good condition.
