German work, 18th century.
Rectangular in shape, rounded at the corners, with engraved decoration on each side of historical military scenes, with the great arms of the royal house of Prussia, a profile of King Frederick II of Prussia and a representation of Duke Ferdinand of Brunswick, inside in vermeil. Time wear, but overall good condition.
Goldsmith's hallmark: illegible and B.
