PHOTOGRAPH FRAME.
In rectangular vermeil, the face enameled with opalescent pink on a guilloché background of undulating waves applied with small flowers finely chased in silver and vermeil, set in the center with a diamond rose and adorned at each corner with a cabochon sapphire, surrounded by a frieze of vermeil pearls and topped with a ribboned bow, with an A-shaped easel foot on the back. In its inspiration and workmanship, this delightful frame is very close to the creations that the imperial court was so fond of, such as those by Fabergé, Britzin, Hahn and Cartier.
