Reference: this pendant brooch is related to a model created by Albert Holmström for Fabergé, given by Emmanuel Nobel to the wife of one of his associates, bearing the name "Russian Snowflake". This design, very fashionable at the time, inspired many jewelers. Bracelets, pendants and brooches were inspired by this typically Russian winter style. See the book by "Ulla Tillander-Godenhielm, jewels, from imperial St. Petersburg", Helsinki, 2012, for several examples from page 242 to 247.
