In vermeil decorated with twisted gadroons, the handle is finely chased with vine branches holding bunches of grapes, topped on one side by a young Bacchus and on the other by an eagle with outstretched wings. Beautiful and rare model. Good condition.

Goldsmith's hallmarks: Savikoff and mark of imperial privilege.
