Idumu Lega mask
The heart-shaped face is covered with Kaolin, although
Idumu masks are much larger than Lukwakongo masks
Lukwakongo masks, they are stylistically close to them.
These are collective masks used during ceremonies
reserved for senior members of the Bwami, an association that
organized the social structure and ensured the stability of the
Lega community
