WIERIX Johann (1553 - 1619) - "Adam and Eve". 1566. Burin after Albrecht DÜRER Albrecht (1471 - 1528). Dated in the upper right-hand corner of the plate. Proof on watermarked laid paper. 23.9 x 18.8 cm. Condition C (cut at the subject and sometimes very slightly inside the subject, traces of old folds visible on verso, gap filled (with foot glued back) and redrawn at lower left corner, tiny little tear on Eve's hair, old restorations).
