Ciro SALOMON ODUBER (Panama, 1921 - Barcelona, 2002). "Don Quixote." Signed in the lower right corner. Measurements: 45 x 34 cm; 74 x 60 cm (frame). His initial studies were with Roberto Lewis at the National School of Painting, and continued between 1940 and 1945 with Humberto Ivaldy. He traveled to Buenos Aires to study and at the Academia Superior de Bellas Artes "Ernesto de la Córdoba" he obtained his degree as a professor of painting. He returned to the country and taught at the National School of Plastic Arts and in secondary schools in the capital. He participated actively in the Panamanian plastic arts; he exhibited collectively and individually, painted murals in public and private institutions. He lived in Barcelona, Spain, where he worked as a painter, illustrator and teacher. His works are in museums and collections in Panama, Washington, Sao Paulo, New York and Bogota.
