A travel writing case inlaid with ebony veneer and highlighted with ivory fillets. It opens at the top, with the writing-table lined with velvet. The compartments are veneered in rosewood with buckets. It opens to two small side drawers.
Flanders, 17th century. Minor wear, small veneer chips and cracks.
