Mesopotamia, Akkadian civilization, second half of 3rd millennium B.C. Provenance: Rassla Foundation, Zurich, November 1975. An Akkadian steatite cylinder seal figuring a cult scene of the solar god Samas, enthroned, with, in his left hand a knife.
