*SEAL-CYLINDER In white marble, depicting scenes in two registers: in the upper register, a large frontal lion's head, a bird, a goat with crescent moon. In the lower register, two small lion heads with a jumping animal and a crab (?). H. 28 mm; D. 16 mm. Mesopotamia, c. 2700-2400 B.C. Provenance: Rassla Foundation, Zurich, acquired from Rabi Gallery, W.G. Lambert, London, September 1994.
