EARRINGS
Formed by a gold disc with an openwork cornice, and set in its center with a banded agate tubular bead. Below, a gold plate in the shape of two dolphins, from which hang three gold pendants set with garnet, chrysoprase and blue glass beads.

A Roman gold pair of earrings, composed of a gold disc with openworked frame and an agate tubular bead in the center. Below is soldered two dolphins, and to these are joined three gold pendeloques set with garnet, chrysoprase and glass. For a similar typology see MARSHALL, F.H., Catalogue of the Jewellery, 1911 pl. LV, n°2668-2670. Beautiful conservation. 3rd Century A.D.
