STATUETTE OF ATHENA
Terracotta, standing, adorned with aegis, holding her shield in her left hand and her spear in her right. The figure rests on a quadrangular base.
H. 20.5 cm.
Etruria, ca. 450 B.C.
Provenance: Former German private collection, 1950-1960. Private collection, acquired on the German market in 2003 and accompanied by an old typed letter in German in which the figure is reproduced.
