Cassou, containing 20 fables illustrated with color lithographs (a faux-title on the first cover of the folder, one subject out-of-text, signed in pencil or ballpoint pen by the artist) by Alix, Calder, Cassandre, Cavaillès, Clavé, M. Clouzot, P. Colin, Coutaud, Dalí, H. David, Dunoyer de Segonzac, V. Hugo, Labisse, Lagrange, Marchand, Pignon, Dom Robert, Rohner, Saint-Saëns, Touchagues. A very fresh copy, one of 41 hors-commerce on vellum pur filigrané d'Arches, reserved for high-ranking personalities of the French Red Cross and collaborators, including an additional suite of illustrations (faux-titres and hors-texte subjects - lacking Clouzot's faux-titre), a decomposition of Cassandre's hors-texte, a silk print of Marchand's faux-titre and hors-texte. Printed dust jacket and publisher's boards (the latter very faded, spine split).
