Pigage - Ein Malerleben in Deutschland 1888-1954', catalog Hubert Vogler Collection - Claus Reisinger, Worms 2014, p. 62, SVR-008, Comment: Pigage was a German painter. After training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Breslau under Arnold Busch, among others, he worked as a decorative painter and draughtsman from 1910. The nude study shown here is a work from his time as a student in Wroclaw (1906-1910).
