The gorgerin (Nodawa) is made up of three black lacquer tiers tied with pale green silk braid. Also present on this armor are the two Kote (arm protectors), partially reinforced with mesh ribs and knotted steel scales, the two armor gloves (Tekko) and the shoulder pads (Sode) in black lacquer with serrated section joined together by thick silk oxblood lacing.
