Saber strongly resembling an 1845 Adjutant's saber (foreign manufacture?), straight blade with counter-edge, two slight grooves and flat back, unmarked, chased gilt bronze mounting, short-tailed pommel, single four-lobed guard limb joining the guard plate, quillon arched forward, filigreed horn spindle in sheet steel scabbard with two bracelets.
