Attractive French Chassepot Model 1866 Infantry rifle, caliber 11 mm single serial except for ramrod, made by Manufacture Impériale de Tulles, barrel dated 1868. Stock double-approved "MI" (Manufacture Impériale) then "MN" (Manufacture Nationale). Weapon polished white, excellent barrel for shooting, very clean and sharp rifling. Rubber gasket present. Functional mechanism. With a bayonet of the model issued from the Tulle Arsenal in February 1872. Bayonet cross marked série Z. Scabbard not numbered.
