French "Pyrénéen Spécial" hand-crafted side-by-side rifle, 12-70 caliber with ejectors (hammer action). Vented band, 700 mm long barrel, blacksmith notched toggle with remains of jaspering and engraving of rose bouquets and thorn tips. Piston carved with floral motifs. Wraparound beavertail front with large pump. Selected walnut half-pistol stock, 365 mm long. Functional mechanism.
