COMEX: Comex (often called "La Comex") is a company specializing in engineering and the underwater world. "Comex" stands for "Compagnie Maritime d'Expertises".
Rolex and COMEX have had an exemplary partnership since the 1960s, which has enabled many of the company's divers to use their watches, each with a unique number and specific COMEX markings. As these watches are not intended for sale, they are rare on the collectors' market.
Condition report: excellent condition for this COMEX Rolex watch. The original box and warranty accompany this watch, as well as other documents such as the diver's mission letter, his dive book and period photos of several dive sites. Also enclosed is a COMEX booklet on air tables according to dive times + a COMEX pin + a GISMER badge.
