Rosewood and burlwood veneer, ebonized band inlays, fine floral marquetry on the lid. Veneer damage, particularly to the sides. Interior with central compartment and six drawers, writing surface with leather cover (damaged). Tapered cornice with drawer. Black marble top with white veining. In need of restoration. 19th century. H. 138 cm, W. 82 cm, D. 40 cm.
